What is the difference between CDJs and Vinyl?

The most obvious difference is that one uses actual CDs and the other vinyl records, but actually the majority of CDJ models today allow a USB input so you don’t have to fumble around with a bunch of CDs all the time (I believe most professional DJs are going with the USB option today).

The Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 was release in February 2016 and replaced the original Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus which is now discontinued and was released in September 2012.

Pioneer is a no doubt a leading brand of CDJs and DJ controllers. The CDJ-2000NXS2 is definitely the #1 best option for professional DJing, however they are a bit expensive and if you are just starting out you may want to try with one of the less costly CDJs listed below.
